Q: DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

A: At this time I only take private pay. In the future, I hope to accept insurance.

Q: WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?

A: Please reach out directly so rates and services can be explained.

Q: DOES MY CHILD HAVE TO HAVE A DIAGNOSIS IN ORDER TO GET YOUR SERVICES?

A. No. I can help with most feeding challenges faced by families that is behavior based and within my scope of practice, even if your child does not have a diagnosis.

Q: DO I NEED TO PROVIDE ANY MEDICAL DOCUMENTS?

A. Yes. Any relevant medical documentation

should be provided. In addition, at any point

during the assessment process additional

documentation might be necessary which 

includes, but is not limited, to medical 

clearance notes and additional tests.

Q:  HOW LONG WILL MY CHILD NEED SERVICES?

A. There is no definitive answer I can give you about treatment duration. Each child responds differently and due to individualization, progress and discharge is different. However, parents will have access to data, progress and consult with BCBA regarding all treatment decisions.

Q: DO YOU PROVIDE SUPERVISION FOR SOMEONE GETTING THEIR BACB CERTIFICATION?

A. Please contact me directly to discuss

scheduling and rates associated with BACB  

supervision.

Q. EVERYONE INCLUDING MY DOCTOR, SAYS ITS JUST PICKY EATING AND MY CHILD WILL GROW OUT OF IT, IS THAT TRUE?

A. 25% of typically developing children and up to 80% of children with developmental

disabilities have feeding disorders (Manikam & Perman, 2000).  Between 46% -89% of children

with autism spectrum disorders have feeding disorder (Ledford & East 2006).
